AMANDA J. YORK is an associate with the firm and she concentrates her practice in litigation of insurance risks involving oil, energy, and marine industries. Ms. York represents domestic and foreign insurers in coverage disputes and litigation involving a variety of insurance policies which include energy package, offshore & onshore property, general liability, pollution liability, business interruption and offshore & onshore construction. Ms. York has also has experience in the areas of general casualty, contractual indemnity, professional liability, premises liability and workers' compensation.

  • Representing insurers in a $50 million coverage dispute in Texas state court arising out of the loss of various platforms during Hurricane Katrina.
  • Texas coverage litigation over the validity of policy sub-limits for flood zones A and V.
